MMU Cheer Elite was created in January 2012 and quickly became one of the fastest growing university clubs, playing an integral part of the activities union and winning Sports Club of The Year for 2015/2016! WELCOMING NEW MEMBERS for the 2015/2016 season, no experience is needed to get involved. Whether you are a complete newbie or have been training since you were 5, we have teams to suit all lev
els. Boys are also welcome. We train in stunting, tumbling and dance throughout the sessions to produce routines to take to regional and national competitions every year. For the last 4 years we have placed in at least the top 5 against other universities across the UK. We also cheer/perform for other sports teams at university games ad charity events. This is a brilliant chance to really represent the university and connect with other students from different sports backgrounds. It’s not all serious, as social events will get everyone involved and enjoying their university night life! We take part in the famous AU Wednesday Social Nights however we also run our own. It is a great way to meet new people and branch outside your comfort-zone. CURRENT COMMITTEE - 2016/2017
