Time for a very sunny ! ☀️🍍

Well done to all our members who took on the Wilmslow Summer 10K this Sunday, especially given the summer heat! The Wilmslow races by Run North West (complete with their fun medals 🏅) are a firm Manchester Frontrunners favourite, and we’re sure to have a load more members from our running club back at the Festive 10K for a spot of Christmas in November! 🎅🏻

There is nothing like a dame…especially when said dame is Dame Kelly 💫🥇🥇💫! 😀

A surprise today as some of us got to meet legendary Olympian athlete, LGBTQ+ hero, and all-round national treasure Dame Kelly Holmes when she turned up to Stretford parkrun! 😀 Our member Joe was able to meet here there as run director this morning, and some of our runners who were coming to our Saturday run that starts nearby were able to pop into the Longford Park stadium for a quick hello! 📸🌈

It may have been hot this evening, but this lot were hotter! 😜🔥

Golden crew in the golden hour ☀️🏟️

Lovely weather for our Tuesday track session at Manchester Regional Arena this evening! The perfect way for members of our running club to improve their running or just have a great workout in good company! 😀

From Spain to the UK, it’s ! 🏅

First of all, well done to all our runners who represented our club last week at the València Gay Games 2026. We had runners take on the 5K, 10K, half marathon, and a variety of other events in the Mediterranean sun, along with thousands of LGBTQ+ athletes from around the world. ☀️🌈 Bring on EuroGamesCDF2027!

Another month, another monthly Parkrun visit for Manchester Frontrunners! 🏳️‍🌈🏃🏳️‍⚧️🌳

Well done to our band of runners who took on the undulating Woodbank Parkrun this morning, and special congratulations to our member Niall who came second overall! 👏

Midweek race + free chips = MFR present ✅😜

Summer with its light evenings means midweek races, and on Tuesday evening, some of our runners took on such a race: the Millbrook Monster 10K trail race! It might have been tough, but they did it, and while there may not have been a medal, there was something even better for finishers: free chip butties! 🍟🥪 Well done to you all for taking part and representing our club! 👏

Well done to our runners who were up at 7:30 am this morning to do the 10K at the València Gay Games 2026 – the first of many activities for our members at the Gay Games this week! 🇪🇸

And also a big well done to our group of runners who took on the Marple Beer Run on Saturday; our member Gary who did brilliantly in the Trail Escape Marathon (running out of Manchester into the countryside); our member Kirsty who took on the Llandudno Sprint Triathlon; our member Paul who took on the Northwich 10K; and our member Dale who received a very artisan medal from for completing the Baker’s Dozen Half Marathon.
