A great evening over at our partner venue Ashton Sixth Form College as we hosted the second week of the brand new Tameside Rounders Club

The response for this session has been amazing to see and was great to see so many ladies last night enjoying their Rounders session in the ☀️

What a brilliant turnout for our second session! It was amazing to see so many women coming together, having fun, supporting each other and enjoying a game of rounders in the sunshine.

Whether you’ve never played before or haven’t picked up a bat since school, our sessions are all about getting active, building confidence and making new friends in a welcoming, inclusive community.

Free activities for the kids all day including: inflatables, face painting, football, dance & so much more

FAMILIES are being invited to enjoy a free day of entertainment and activities at the annual summer occasion in Dukinfield Park.

The Family Fun Day has a range of activities planned for visitors of all ages – including music, junior football, face painting and Zumba.

Organised by Astley Sports Village in partnership with Tameside Council, Dukinfield and Stalybridge Rotary Club and Jigsaw Homes, it will take place on Saturday, July 18, from 11am to 3pm.

Those who come along will also have the chance to meet members of the emergency services, who will be showcasing the equipment they use and explaining more about their duties.

A host of local community organisations are also expected to be present, including The Together Centre, Guides, Scouts, dance groups and local church groups.

Last night our partner venue Ashton Sixth Form College hosted the first Tameside Rounders Club with a great turnout despite the ☔️

Fantastic to see and looking forward to hosting more sessions with The Rounders Club - Tameside across our venues

24 women showed up for the very first session of The Rounders Club tonight… and we played in the rain 🥎🌧️💙

What started as just an idea to create a fun, supportive and empowering women’s community has officially begun.

Tonight was full of laughs, great energy, team spirit and women stepping out of their comfort zones.

Thank you to every single person who came and made the first session so special.

This is only the beginning ✨
