🏆 Whitworth Medal Champion – Adam Griffiths 🏆

Congratulations to Adam Griffiths on winning the Whitworth Medal for an incredible fifth time.
Challenging conditions on Saturday made scoring difficult, but Adam showed great composure and consistency on Sunday to reclaim the title, finishing two shots clear of John Jones, who won the event in 2024 and 2025.

A fantastic achievement and a testament to Adam’s skill and determination.

Well done to both players and everyone who took part in this year’s competition. ⛳👏

🏆 Worsley Golf Club Junior Club Championship 2026 🏆

A huge congratulations to Daire Cox, who claimed the Junior Club Championship title with an outstanding gross score of 77.

Congratulations also to Rory McKnight, who secured the Nett Prize with an excellent nett score of 65.

Both winners are pictured alongside Junior Captain Harry Flanaghan.

Well done to all of our junior golfers who took part and made this year’s championship such a fantastic event. The future of golf at Worsley Golf Club is looking bright! ⛳👏

We would like to inform the public that Salford Council has commenced improvement works on the pathway that runs through the golf course. The project is being carried out to improve drainage and address a number of ongoing issues with the path.

🚫 There is currently NO access through the golf course via this pathway while the works are taking place.

For your safety, please do not enter or attempt to cross the golf course during this period.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while these improvements are completed.
