A fun, welcoming introduction to squash for girls aged 6–10, delivered as part of Lancashire’s Next Gen initiative. 💜

Every participant will also receive a squash welcome pack, including a racket, goggles and water bottle! 🙌

Last week, some of our 12U–14U performance players travelled to Jersey to compete in the Grade 3 event 🎾🏆

From battling it out on court to making memories off it, the team had an incredible trip — returning home with plenty of trophies! 🏆👏

But beyond the results, it was the friendships, laughter and memories that made it so special 💙💛

A huge well done to all the players for representing the club so brilliantly, and a special thank you to our Director of Tennis, Lewis, and Head of Performance, Ella, for organising, leading and supporting the team throughout.

A great way to keep children active, make new friends and improve their tennis over the summer holidays. Whether they’re picking up a racket for the first time or already love the game, our experienced coaches provide a fun and welcoming environment with plenty of games and activities, including Tennis, Padel & Pickleball.

🎾 Men’s 1st Team – League Decider

This Thursday at 7:00pm, The Northern Men’s 1st Team plays its final match of the North West Cheshire League Premier Division season.

A win against Knutsford will secure the league title!

If you’re around, come down to the club and support the team. It would be a fantastic achievement to finish the season as Premier Division champions, and we’d love to have plenty of members there to watch.

A smart new addition to our indoor courts 💙💛

Our brand new curtains are now installed all the way around the indoor courts, giving the space a smart new look and feel as part of our ongoing investment in the club.

Another fantastic year of hosting the Junior ITF tournament at Northern 🎾🌍

A huge thank you to all of the players, officials, volunteers and members who helped make the week such a success. Despite some very typical Manchester conditions — including a few heavy downpours — it was brilliant to still get play underway on our grass courts, a huge credit to the hard work of our grounds team.

The standard of tennis on show was exceptional, and we’re incredibly proud to continue hosting such a prestigious international event here at the club 💙

Summer’s here and it’s been so lovely to see everyone making the most of our outdoor spaces ☀️🙌

Since our new outdoor furniture arrived earlier this year, it’s been great to see our Clubhouse, decking and outdoor area become such a popular spot for members to relax, socialise and enjoy the club. With the World Cup on the big screen and now Wimbledon underway, we’ve loved seeing so many people down at the club enjoying the atmosphere and watching the sport together 💙🎾⚽️

And that’s the 2025/26 squash season! This weekend saw the finale our end of season club championships. We hosted the culmination of the Ian Stewart Memorial club championships, the inaugural Clare Murray Challenge Cup, Handicap, Over 40s Open, Handicap, as well as B and C grade events! 8 Finals in all - followed by a great evening social! Thanks to everyone who to part in our tournaments, and contributed to a great season!
