Cycle Service Course

A few highlights from the past few days in the workshop.

An S-Works SL7, Dura-ace for a brake service (and new lever after the master cylinder expired)

A Giant Propel in for a steerer chop and service (future steerer chop incoming)

A Pinarello Grevil in for its annual service. New headset bearings and brake pads and uts back to its best again.

Finally, some detailed tinkering on a SRAM Red lever, fitting a new lever blade after a in accident destroyed one on a customers Aethos.

Booking now for the 31st of August onwards. I'll be away on my last road race trip of thw tear with USA, but Xavier will be here, working hard in the workshop.

Another week comes to an end in the Cycle Service Course Workshop. A hot one this week, but still very busy through August.

Lots of Services with some hardworking summer bikes having a bit of love.

A "4 bike" kind of day today......

Canyon Endurace CF SL - Full service. New wheel bearings and gear cables.
Giant Bicycles Contend SL - Drive chain service and derailleur set up
Specialized Bicycles Epic MTB - Basic service and new dropper post cable.
Canyon Speedmax CF SLX - Pre race service and set up ahead of Leeds Ironman next weekend. Silca hot waxed chain.

A busy week planned for the workshop, so keep your eyes peeled for some absolute beauties.

Rounding out another week in the workshop with a summary of my year with USA Cycling .

MTB, Road, TT and Track.

- Specialized Bicycles Epic in for a new Dropper cable and pedal service.
- Canyon Speedmax, serviced ahead of the upcoming Leeds Ironman. Wax chains x 3.
- Trek Domane. Annual full service, with new consumables.
- Another Trek Domane from a new customer. Fully serviced this commuter ahead of the Autimn/winter to come.
- Finally a Ribble AL Disc commuter. Put back together after a Car vs Bike situation.

Its been a few years since I've seen this quantity of Tubular tyres in a season.

A new set of Pista speed for this set of Nepest track wheels and a new Corsa Pro for the Selcof TT disc. When you think tubulars are a thing of history, they let you know their still relevant 🙋🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️

A "Gravelly" start to the week, with not one but two Scott Addict GRs.

Both arrived for handlebars swaps. The first for the proprietary one piece bar and stem, and the second for a lightweight narrower bar. Very impressed with the one piece bar/stem, with a lovely sweep, feel and finish.

Congratulations to customer Geriant. 14 weeks post hip operation and he stormed the Alps. Col du Glandon, Coll de la Crolx de Fer.... a super beautiful part of the world !

We've been looking after his Ribble Endurance SL for 4 or 5 years now and it was serviced prior to his recent trip to France.

Looking forward to seeing him in the workshop again soon.

First photo dump from the 6 day, here in Italy.

Great to be supporting riders from the Track endurance program. Learning lots, and finessing each day.

Great results already with a solid 2nd place in the women's omnium from and 3rd for in the Scratch race.

Last day in Italy today with the Mens Madison for .frislie (who's partnered up with ) and the points race for the ladies.

Great first opportunity to work with these guys, and I hope there will be more.
