Wow, can you believe that the Autumn Equinox is next week?! Where has the time gone!

To be honest, after such a hot sunny summer, I am really looking forward to cosy evenings, fires and amber hues on the trees.🍁

As day and night becomes equal, it invites us to find balance once more, before we settle into the darker and slower seasons.

To celebrate this shift, I am holding a drumming circle on Monday (21st September) up in the Hayloft at The New Three Cups Inn Malmesbury

Throughout the evening, we will move through meditation, drumming, singing and sharing, all themed around the Autumn Equinox.

Drums provided, no experience needed.

If you can't make this date, we meet on each wheel of the year, and I have other drumming circles nearby upcoming too (including one on the 26th sept in Westonbirt Arboretum - Forestry England)

🍁The Rhythm of Mabon | A Sound Exploration in Celebration of the Autumn Equinox🍁

Do you notice the darker and cosier nights coming in?
Come and celebrate the welcoming in of Autumn's Glory and the changing of seasons.

We will celebrate with sounds, drums, movement, song, with time for integration and reflection.

⏰Sunday 27th September 10am-1pm
at The Henge Shop in Avebury, Wiltshire

The day will include:

🎵Vocal activation & song circle
🌳Silent walk around the stones & ancient landscape

🪘This weekend in Avebury🪘

A very drum-and-Avebury-heavy weekend and I couldn’t think of anything better!😍

To be surrounded by incredible women, drumming together within the stones, and as some embark on their deeper journey of drumming with making their own.

Saturdays circle really felt like a space where we were all able to fully be ourselves, whenever we feel ready to and however that may look/feel. I feel so grateful that we can be that space and container for each other. And this circle can continue to be that space, for those that currently attend and for anyone new too.

And wow, such an honour as always to be a helping hand in birthing drums. 8 magnificent drums were birthed yesterday within the stones and it was magical 🧡 how they all unfolded in their own unique ways.
I looked forward to seeing the journeys they will all go on.✨

Aveburys drum circles run monthly, next one on the 10th Oct. Before then, we have a wonderful special gathering on the 27th Sept with Heartfelt Sounds for Mabon🍁

And there’s a couple more opportunities to make your own drum, Westonbirt on Oct 11th and in Avebury again on the 7th Nov.

There can be a lot of unknowns when entering a class for the first time. Whether you have practiced yoga before but had a long break or don’t really quite know what it’s about, then know that this is a space where no question is a daft one and we’ll move at your pace.

Exploring Scotland🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

As you may (or may not- it’s not particularly relevant!) know, I’m just back from a week or so of exploring Scotland. And wowee, I could have explored for months.

Now I have only been to Edinburgh before, which I know a lot of people would therefore argue I haven’t been to Scotland, so it was incredible to explore her vast landscapes and mythological sights.

From the mountains, vast lakes & bothy’s,
To the sacred wells, ringing stones, fairy glens, and Nessie of course! 🐉

It baffles me how different the landscape can change when we’re such a small island, it fascinates me!

Here’s a few snippets from our trip, but I will be sharing some specific posts on some of the more folklore-y/ special places as the land of Scotland has a lot to say.

And just to be real, the itch to get a van is getting ever more strong…. 🚐 try and talk me out of it.

🍁Autumn Equinox Sound Bath at The New Three Cups Inn Malmesbury next Wednesday 16th Sept🍁

Starting to feel a little bit cosy again after the long Summer we've had? ☀️

Next Wednesday evening, 7:30-8:30pm, I am holding a sound bath up in the Hayloft.

Come to find a moment to pause.
Where there is nothing to do other than rest and receive the wonderful sounds of crystal singing bowls, the voice and other sound healing instruments.

No experience is needed, just bring what you need to be comfy!

These run monthly, so the next one will be on the 14th October if you can't make that date!
