Care Bears child minding service

Graduation day, what a special day for our little mindees and we all had so much fun making memories whilst celebrating our two little leavers ♥️👨‍🎓💙🎉

Today the mindees enjoyed a colour/ picture matching activity, they used their fine motor skills to add sticks to the card, matching the colours and following the shape patterns using their hand and eye coordination to place the sticks and helping to support finger strength. This created a lovely opportunity as they all had conversations about colours and positional language as they all discussed the shapes they had on their cards 🌈♥️💙

What a super hot week, we all managed to keep cool with lots of water play, frozen yoghurt / ice lollies and when it was far to hot to be outside we bought the water inside.
Tonnes and tonnes of sun cream applied and lots of conversations about how to keep safe in the heat 🥰☀️

Busy couple of weeks at Carebears, lots of craft activities, garden play and outings, they loved the egg and spoon race, where we practised balancing and hand/ eye coordination.
Our little Carebears have loved starting Easter crafts with lots more planned next week. ♥️
The playroom has had a spring clean this evening too 🧼

We've had such a fun Day at carebears lots of different activities to celebrate world book day, we had the stickman, Winnie the Pooh, woody, gruffalo and kiddies dressed in their snuggly pjs ready for a day full of stories, our little Carebears enjoyed a sensory tray based on the story "the colour monster"
The children learnt to name feelings and emotions, we practised our feelings using differant facial expressions.
💙 Blue – sad
💛 Yellow – happy
❤️ Red – angry
💚 Green – calm
💗 Pink – loved
The children used tongs and their fingers to pick up and explore the differant textures.
We read the story and just before lunch we watched a little clip of the colour monster together. 🥰
