East Region County Match Days 2026

This year’s East Region County Match Days take place at St Ives (Hunts) Golf Club, hosted by Cambs & Hunts Women’s Golf Limited.

Essex will compete against Bedfordshire, Cambs & Hunts, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk for the East Region County Championship — with the winners progressing to the Women’s County Match Day Finals at Betchworth Park Golf Club, 28–31 July 2026.

Norfolk are the current champions, so they’re the team to beat!

Essex are fielding a strong team with a great mix of experienced players and new faces. Matches are played in a round robin format, with each match made up of three singles and two foursomes.

Come along and support the team if you can — and don’t forget to wear Essex Red! ❤️

Essex Golf is hosting a FREE Women’s Golf Taster Day at Langdon Hills Golf & Country Club on Saturday 6 June 2026 at 10.30am. A fun, friendly session with PGA coaching, games and all equipment provided.

No experience needed — just wear trainers, bring a water bottle and come and give golf a go. Places are limited, so book now via [email protected]
