Weavering Warriors RFC formed in 2003 on the back of the Rugby World Cup win for England.
12 years, a council pitch and some pubs for clubhouses and we now have our own home in Park Wood, Maidstone. The 2013/14 Season saw us win Dragon Fire 4 and the 2014/15 Season saw us win Late Red 3 on the final day of the season. 💥PRE-SEASON TRAINING & THE CAPTAIN’S BBQ 💥
This Thursday, we are starting a new pre-season tradition.
We’ll be putting in the work on the training pitch from 7pm, followed by the inaugural Captain’s BBQ - hosted by our Club and Team Captains. It’s going to be a brilliant evening for bringing everyone together, welcoming new faces and building the team spirit that will carry us into the new season.
If you’ve been thinking about getting back into rugby, joining a new club or giving the game a go for the first time, this is the perfect night to come along. Bring your boots, get involved or just come and see what we're all about - and of course stay for the BBQ afterwards.
