🐾 COULD YOUR DOG BE A FLYBALL DOG? 🐾
The Barkshire Bandits Flyball Team are looking for new dogs and handlers to join us! 🐕

We’re running a 4 week Beginner Flyball Course at Diana Brimblecombe Animal Rescue Centre, giving you and your dog the chance to learn the basics of Flyball, have some fun and discover whether this brilliant team sport is for you.

📅 Starts: Sunday 11 October
⏰ Time: 11:00am
📍 Venue: DBARC
🐾 Duration: 4 weeks (every Sunday)
💷 Cost: £50 for the full course, payable in advance

No previous Flyball experience is needed, this is designed for complete beginners. Places are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, so early booking is recommended.

🏁 WHAT A SEASON FOR THE BANDITS! ❤️💙

With our final competition of the season complete, it's time to look back at what has been a fantastic year for the Barkshire Bandits.

We've competed at 10 events this season, including hosting three of our own competitions and taking both teams to the British Flyball Association UK Championships.

And there have been plenty of reasons to celebrate along the way! 🏆

UK CHAMPIONSHIPS
Both the Bandits and Bullets finished 3rd in their respective divisions!

BANDITS
⭐ 9 Top 3 finishes
🥇 5 First Places
⚡ Season Best: 17.74 seconds — our fastest time in two years!

BULLETS
⭐ 5 Top 3 finishes
🥈 2 Second Places
⚡ Season Best: 20.54 seconds

But this season has been about much more than results and times.

🎓 Digit, Luna and Charlie all achieved their Flyball Graduate Award, reaching an incredible 3,000 points.

🐶 We welcomed three new dogs into the Bandits family — brothers Ace & Finn, and Gem.

❤️ We also celebrated Tito's retirement after his incredible racing career with the team.

🌟 And our young handlers Jasper and Grayson both received Young Handler Awards this year — something we're incredibly proud of.

And what better way to finish the season than at our own two-day competition at Diana Brimblecombe Animal Rescue Centre, with the Bandits taking 1st place.

A massive thank you to everyone who has raced, trained, helped, supported, hosted, judged, volunteered or cheered us on this season. Flyball really is a team sport, both on and off the lanes.

Now it's time for winter training. ❄️🐾 We'll be working hard with our current dogs, bringing our newer dogs through and getting ready for what's next.

🏆 CHAMPS 2026… What a weekend! 🏆

What a weekend it has been! ❤️💙

The Barkshire Bandits and Barkshire Bullets have both battled their way through some incredibly close racing at Champs, and we’re delighted to say that both teams finished 3rd in their respective divisions! 🥉🥉

There were some seriously exciting races, nail-biting moments, plenty of cheering from the sidelines and, most importantly, a whole lot of teamwork. 🐾🏁

But this weekend was also a very special one for one of our four-legged teammates…

Champs marked the end of an incredible flyball career for Tito, as he officially retired from racing.

Tito has given us so many fantastic memories over the years, and it was only fitting that we got to celebrate his retirement surrounded by his teammates and the flyball family.

Thank you, Tito, for everything you’ve given to the Bandits. 🐾❤️

You’ve earned your retirement now — time to put your paws up, enjoy your treats and let everyone else do the running! 🥰

A huge THANK YOU also goes to every single person who helped make the weekend so special:

🐾🏆 Championship Weekend has begun! 🏆🐾

The Barkshire Bandits have arrived at the British Flyball Association UK Championships, and we’re all set for an incredible weekend of racing! 🎾🐶

Tomorrow is Time Trials, where every run counts as we aim to secure the best possible seeding for the racing ahead.

The dogs are ready, the team is excited, and we can’t wait to get out on the lanes alongside the best Flyball teams in the UK.

A huge good luck to everyone competing this weekend. Here’s to fast times, clean passes, and an unforgettable Championships! 💙❤️

🐾 A huge thank you to the Jets Flyball Team for hosting another fantastic tournament this weekend! 💙❤️

We had a brilliant day of racing, with plenty of close heats, lots of laughs and, as always, great company.

A massive well done to the Bullets, who raced brilliantly to finish 🥈 2nd in their division – a fantastic result and one the whole team should be proud of!

Our top team may not have made the podium this time, but they gained invaluable racing experience, tried new combinations and continued to build confidence as a team. Every race is another step forward, and we're excited to see that progress continue.

With that, our preparations are complete and all eyes are now on the BFA UK Championships next month. We can't wait to represent Barkshire Bandits on the national stage and give it everything we've got!

Thank you again to everyone at Jets Flyball Team for a brilliantly run event, and to all the teams, judges, volunteers and supporters who make these weekends so enjoyable.

🤠🐾 We're Heading to the BFA UK Championships! 🐾🤠

The Barkshire Bandits are officially entered into the British Flyball Association UK Championships this August in Uttoxeter!

We'll be taking 2 teams to compete against some of the best flyball teams in the country, and we honestly can't wait. Whether we're racing down the lanes, cheering each other on, or catching up with friends old and new, the Championships are always one of the highlights of the flyball calendar.

Good luck to everyone entering—we'll see you in Uttoxeter!

An incredible day of Flyball at Lydiard Park this weekend. From the first race to the final heat, both of our teams gave it everything, and we’re thrilled with the results…

🥇 Bandits stormed their way to 1st Place!
🥉 Bullets put in a fantastic performance to secure 3rd Place!

We’re so proud of every dog, handler, box loader and supporter who helped make the day such a success.

A huge thank you to Odyssey Flyball Club for hosting such a brilliantly organised event. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish, and despite the temperatures climbing later in the day, the racing kept going and the event was completed without a hitch.

Congratulations to all the teams who competed, it was great to see so many fantastic races and to catch up with the Flyball community.

Here’s to another successful weekend for the Bandits family! 💙❤️
