Exciting news for our junior participants at Ockwells junior parkrun

Big news 🎉

We have new junior parkrun milestones with more moments to celebrate! Our free milestone wristbands have had an upgrade and now include new volunteer milestone wristbands for children aged 4-14.

There is also an exciting new range of junior parkrun milestone T-shirts available to buy from the parkrun Shop, designed with our junior parkrun community.

🎉A massive thank you to our 54 amazing volunteers who gave up their time on Saturday to make the event with Joe Wicks a huge success! 💙

🌅 Our setup team arrived at Braywick bright and early to prepare the course and get everything ready for the arrival of 900 participants ✅

📣 Our marshals cheered all runners and walkers every step of the way! 🎉

🦺 The tailwalkers and parkwalkers were out on the course, providing lots of encourgment and ensured everyone got around the course safely!

🏁 At the finish, our timekeepers ⏱️, funnel managers 🚧, number checker 🔢 and trio of finish token volunteers 🎟️ kept everything running seamlessly. Epic team work!

📱 Our barcode scanners ensured everyone received a result and welcomed you after the run with a big well done!

A HUGE well done to all 9️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ of you who crossed the finish line today 👏

We welcomed Joe Wicks & Brooks and what a brilliant morning! We hope you all managed to say hi, grab a selfie and test out the new Brooks trainers!

Massive thanks to the 52 wonderful volunteers - we simply couldn’t do it without you 🙌 A huge thank you to everyone who was involved in the planning, the course setup this morning and ensured the event went smoothly!

We had lots of milestones celebrate today! Well done to all of you! 🎉

A big sorry that the course was short today. Please be reassured all results have been amended to the 5k distance and are correct. Despite this, we hope you all enjoyed visiting Maidenhead!
