What a perfect morning for running that was. Congratulations to everyone achieving a milestone, to our first finishers, to those recording high age grade percentages and to several celebrating PBs. Welcome to all those running their first parkrun and to our visitors and many, many thanks to our fabulous volunteers.

Well done to our 437 finishers today and huge thanks to our wonderful 30 volunteers who made it all possible.

A special welcome to our tail walker Elana, and to those just starting their volunteering with us as part of their Duke of Edinburgh Award, Amelie, Lily and Olivia. You'll be seeing a lot more of them over the coming months.

Thank you to everyone who has responded to the Braywick Sports Association petition regarding safety of the access to Braywick Park. We have 890 responses but please recirculate to your family and friends so we can reach the 1000 responses required. It is open to anyone resident in RBWM.

Only four more weeks to respond, closing date is 15 October 2026.

This Saturday - we think for the first time ever - we have 4 volunteers on the roster with Legendary ‘Volunteer 500’ status.

But also, every week we have an average of 3 people volunteering at Maidenhead for the first time, as well as others trying out new roles.

We would love you to join the team whether it is your 1st or 501st time!

Well done to all 407 finishers at Maidenhead today.

Apologies about the earlier results, we had a few issues that we - hope - have been overcome and should now be correct.

Congratulations to Sean Xu on his 150th run, to Jeetpal Kang (100th run), to Kirsten Ashman (300th run) and anyone else who was celebrating a milestone.

Thanks, as always, to our amazing volunteers - we couldn't put on the event without them.
