I strive to create a practice that is suitable for all levels - from beginners to those with more experience. Join just as you are.

Nelumbo Yoga was founded by Joelle Pettitt in 2011 and provides both Ashtanga Yoga, Dynamic Power Vinyasa, Restorative, Pre and Postnatal Yoga classes as well as private one-to-one yoga tuition in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire & London. Yoga classes involve a sequence of postures, focusing on linking breath with movement in a dynamic flow to leave you feeling energised, invigorated and relaxed. My belief is that yoga is about learning to respect your body whilst daring to challenge yourself to improve the strength and flexibility of both your body and mind. My favorite part of the work I do is spending time with and getting to know the kind and beautiful people that come to class and make up the Nelumbo Yoga family.

Penny is one of those amazing people. Reading her review warms my heart (Thank you Penny) and if you've been thinking about starting yoga but haven't felt sure, hopefully her experience will give you the confidence to come along and try a class.

In need of time for yourself? Time to move, breathe and re-connect? Join me for yoga. Classes run from my home studio in Maidenhead or you can join online from anywhere you find yourself.

Yoga classes re-start next week on 1st September and run until the end of the year. Classes run as a term booking but you can also book single classes if you aren't able to commit to the whole term.
Can't make the class times? Just request a recording of class and you can practice whenever suits you.

🇵🇸 𝗔 𝗛𝗨𝗚𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨!! 🕊️

Another successful fundraiser organised by and .alchemist

Last night’s yoga and sound meditation was a perfect way to bring together beautiful like minded people to raise much needed funds for the UN World Food Programme Gaza fund.

After the relaxing and peaceful yoga and sound bath, there were delicious cakes and plenty of products to buy as well as some hand made tatreez items made by women from Shu’fat refugee camp (located on the outskirts of Jerusalem) brought by .

All in all we raised £561 which was doubled by the GAZA matched appeal meaning a grand total of £1122 to help families in Gaza!

Thanks to all who organised this successful event and an even bigger thank you to those who attended!

Join me for a weekend of yoga practice and relaxation in the stunning eco-friendly retreat centre West Lexham, located in the heart of Norfolk, UK

Alongside morning and evening yoga practice you can enjoy activities like rowing, paddle boarding, swimming in the lake or simply take a peaceful walk through the woods and gardens. The natural beauty of West Lexham provided the perfect backdrop for this retreat.

We will be staying in The Barn which boasts its own purpose-built studio with separate spaces for relaxing & dining. There are also 10 luxurious en-suite rooms which you can enjoy to yourself or share with a friend.

This weekend is an opportunity to allow yourself to be taken care of, to be healed & nurtured. During our stay, we will be nourished with healthy, home-cooked, vegetarian meals, full of ingredients from their organic farm.

This retreat is suitable for 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 from those newer to yoga to those who wish to develop and deepen their existing practice.
