🚭 TEMPORARY NO SMOKING ON THE GOLF COURSE 🚭

Due to the recent hot, dry weather and the increased risk of fire, we have taken the decision to introduce a temporary no smoking policy on the golf course.

The rough and surrounding areas are extremely dry, and it only takes a single discarded cigarette, cigar or match to start a fire. With recent incidents reported at other golf courses, we believe it’s important to act now to help protect our course, our wildlife, our members and our visitors.

Smoking is temporarily prohibited anywhere on the golf course until further notice.

✅ Smoking is still permitted:
• Outside the Clubhouse
• On the Patio

If you do smoke in these designated areas, please dispose of cigarette ends responsibly using the bins provided.

This is a temporary measure that we will review as soon as conditions improve.

🐍 Meet Noodle – Bird Hills' Very Special Resident! 💚

We have some exciting wildlife news from Bird Hills...

Meet Noodle, our newest resident! 🐍

Noodle is completely non-venomous, loves climbing trees, and is an incredible sight to see. While snakes like Noodle are rarely spotted around here, what makes her truly extraordinary is her enormous size. It's incredibly unusual to come across one this large, making her a very rare sighting in our area. The last known sighting of one locally was around 30 years ago, so we feel incredibly lucky to have her calling Bird Hills home.

Her presence is a fantastic sign that Bird Hills continues to provide an excellent natural habitat for wildlife.
