Last Sunday Leanne, Dan and Gary paddled from Solva on a perfect day exploring the caves. Why not learn to kayak and you can join them next time!

Sadly on the 16th June 2026, Maesteg Canoe Club lost its President Keith after a battle with ill health.

Keith was an integral part of the club and committee and he will be missed by all.

One of his wishes was for donations to be made in his memory to Maesteg Canoe Club.

Great to see so many members at our first Summer session at Port Talbot Docks...well we say 'Summer' ☀️ but it rained 🌧 most of the time and we had to edit this pic to make it look nicer than it was. Hopefully our next outing there on 7th August will be more ‘Summerish’ 😄.

During the school summer holidays there will be some changes to the usual Wednesday evening club session. Three of the weeks will be at Port Talbot Docks and three will be at the pool.

Port Talbot Dock sessions are 6pm (arrival) and will end around 8pm (for both Juniors and Seniors) so they're a bit longer but the same price 😀. Pool session times stay as normal.

We had a great day at Port Talbot docks yesterday with some of our members. The weather went from 🌧️ to ☀️. Thanks to Port Talbot Sea Cadets for hosting us once again ☺️.
