🔵⚪ Tytherington FC U13s Titans — East Manchester Summer League Final Game ⚪🔵

Well… what a morning that turned into! 😂⚽

For the opening ten minutes, the Titans appeared to have collectively decided Sunday morning football started slightly later than advertised.

Half asleep. Second to everything. And, quite frankly, an absolute shambles. 😂

Thankfully, Rory had other ideas. Save after save kept us in it while everyone else woke up. He needs to start a notebook of every lad he bails out — because when they turn 18, they owe him a serious number of beers! 🍻😂

And then… the Titans woke up.

What followed was outstanding. We started winning battles, moving the ball quickly, pressing together and playing with real purpose. From nowhere, the lads took complete control and steamrolled through the game.

Every single player was fantastic. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

And it puts the finishing touch on a brilliant summer…

🏆 EAST MANCHESTER SUMMER LEAGUE CHAMPIONS! 🏆

Some scorelines perhaps haven’t done justice to the quality of opposition we’ve faced. The difference has been the mentality of this group.

We defend properly. We work for each other. We hate conceding. And when chances come, we’re increasingly ruthless at taking them.

Every player has contributed and the progress they’ve made as a team has been fantastic to watch.

Now for the next challenge… 11v11 football in the East Manchester U14s League.

Bigger pitches. Older opposition. Different challenges.

The football season is officially back! ⚽🙌

Ahead of the grassroots season kicking off at the beginning of September, Tythy launched its first-ever 8BY8 Coaching session this morning and what a fantastic start it was! ⚽️

It was brilliant to see so many young players down at Riverside enjoying football, developing their skills, and doing what they love. A huge thank you to Mark Rees (The Reesilience Project) for delivering another fantastic training session and inspiring everyone involved.

We can’t wait to see what the season has in store. Here’s to another brilliant year of grassroots football! 💙⚽
