Rolling fairways. Firm underfoot. Golf just as nature intended.
Links golf is shaped by the wind, the sea and the land itself. Every contour, hollow and rise is part of the challenge, just as it has been since the game began.
Some landscapes don't just host golf—they define it.

👏🏽 As we reflect on yesterday's results of Final Qualifying for The Open, we remember fondly hosting this event, most recently in 2022.
Last week marked the centenary of one of golf's defining moments, when Bobby Jones won his first Open Championship at Royal Lytham & St Annes in 1926 - the first of his three Claret Jugs and the beginning of one of the game's greatest legacies.
That anniversary is especially meaningful to us here at the Old Links.
During his visit to Lytham, Jones also played The Old Links and was so captivated by our iconic par-three 9th hole that he famously remarked, "It's difficult to see how you could improve on this."
More than a century later, it remains one of the finest par threes in golf.
It is a fitting reminder of the unique relationship between St Annes Old Links and Royal Lytham & St Annes - two clubs that share the same roots, a rich golfing heritage, and more than 125 years of intertwined history.
We are proud to continue that shared story by hosting Final Qualifying for the AIG Women's Open and look forward to strengthening this historic relationship for many years to come.

On this day in 1901, the Old Links was born ⛳️
Today marks exactly 125 years since the club’s inaugural meeting, and the minutes of that meeting are on display outside the secretary’s office.

Not many courses let you stand in the clubhouse and see almost every hole — that’s what makes St Annes Old Links so special.
Even better when it’s looking this good.
Huge credit to our greenkeeping team for the incredible work they put in every single day. 👏🏽
