This week our 1s are back into league action as they take on Winchcombe Town at Butts Lane in the Steve Gooch Northen senior 2. A win for the boys last week in the county cup we look to continue our decent run of form into this Saturday. We will also be showing off our new VX3 kit. She’s a beauty. Great thanks to our kit sponsors W&N Adams, BH Cecil and Sons, Dean mowers and Reid lifting.

The Dug Out Cafe will be open before k.o and during the game for your drinks and snacks. So come and support local. All profits from the Dug Out will be donated to MacMillan Coffee Morning.

The 2s take the journey up to Dene Magna School ( GL17 0DU) to face Rank Outsiders in the North Glos Division 2. Again off the back of a county cup win last week and two convincing league wins the lads are up for this one and go in to it full of confidence. Will the deadly attacking duo be at it again this week. 👀

So come and get behind the lads and cheer them on from the sidelines.

🟡⚫️SATURDAYS RESULTS 🔵⚫️

Both sides through on penalties in today’s county cup games. Great results lads.

🟡⚫️. The 1s took on a strong and reluctant Bream at the Lonk. Bailey James firing us into the lead from a free kick (cross become shot). Then another converted Bailey James pen put the lads 2-0 up. Both sides going down to 10 men in the first half. Bream pulled it back to 2-2. Straight to penalties with the boys winning 3-1.

🔵⚫️ The reserves were also in county cup action today with a first round tie against wickwar wanderers not knowing what to expect they were up against it from the start finding them selves 2-0 down at half time. They never gave up and with 18 minutes to go and assist from keeper Joe Taylor to Carl James who got one back then 10 minutes later assisted Christian Cox for the equaliser.
On to penalties which resulted in a 4-3 win.

Both sides in County Cup action this weekend. 🏆

The 1s take a short journey through the forest this Saturday to face Bream Amateurs at The Lonk. With a draw on the road last week the boys will look for the win to advance into the next round of the cup. With both sides sitting on 9 points in the league it’s set to be a competitive one.

🔵⚫️
The 2s host Wickwar Wanderers down at Butts lane. The lads are on fire with 13 goals scored in the first 2 league games. Can they continue this great form in front of goal.
