Sunday at Powerleague Luton brought plenty of action as our Kixx stars got stuck into a session packed with movement and ball mastery! 🔥

The players raced through our obstacle course, twisting, changing direction, bursting into space and showing off some fantastic close control! 💨⚽

Loads of effort, huge smiles and some cracking football all round! 🙌

⚽️ WHY START FOOTBALL AT 18 MONTHS - 2 YEARS? 👶⚽️

Some people might ask, “Isn’t that too young to start football?”

We’d say it’s never too early to introduce a child to movement, a ball and the joy of sport.

At that age, it’s not about tactics, winning games or becoming the next superstar. It’s about:

⚽️ Learning to move and coordinate
🏃‍♂️ Building confidence and balance
🧠 Developing basic motor skills
🤝 Learning to interact and play alongside others
😊 Having fun and creating positive experiences
❤️ Most importantly, developing a LOVE for the game

At this age, football should look like play — kicking a ball, chasing it, stopping it, running, laughing and exploring.

You’re not trying to create a professional footballer at 2 years old.

You’re giving them an opportunity to discover something they might love.

The skills can come later. The pressure can wait.

Let them play. Let them explore. Let them fall in love with football. ❤️⚽️
