Coming back from the IMMAF World Championships, surrounded by some of the best fighters, coaches, gyms and nations in the world, gave me a chance to reflect on what we’ve built.

For years, we’ve been making noise on the UK scene. Win after win. Title after title. Champion after champion.

We’ve never avoided challenges or looked for easy routes. We’ve taken the fights, backed our ability and consistently delivered. That’s not luck. That’s the level we operate at.

Then you reach the World Championships and the room changes. You’re sharing the stage with elite national teams, world-class coaches and the best young fighters from across the planet.

And we came away knowing one thing:

We belong in those rooms.

That’s what I’m proudest of. We haven’t bought this reputation or talked our way into it. We’ve fought for it.

Years of hard rounds, sacrifices, setbacks, injuries and work when nobody was watching have built this team. The belts and winning record are simply the evidence.

But domestic success isn’t enough anymore. The target has moved.

To every fighter in our gym, especially the younger ones watching this — there is your proof.

The pathway is real.

Keep turning up. Keep getting rounds in. Keep listening. Stay disciplined when nobody is watching and keep believing when things aren’t going your way.

You don’t need to be the finished product today. You just need to keep becoming better.

Your opportunity will come. Make sure you’ve done the work to be ready for it.

The mission now is to keep producing high-level talent, again and again. Not one fighter. Not one special generation.

We’re building a genuine pathway from Legends MMA to national titles, Team England, world championships and eventually the highest level of professional MMA.

We’ve proven ourselves in the UK.

Now we’re coming for the world.

A massive experience and a great display of MMA from Eesa on the biggest amateur MMA stage in the world.

Months of hard training, sacrifice, tough rounds in the gym and constant preparation all led to this moment — stepping onto the IMMAF World Championship stage against some of the best young fighters from around the world.

Eesa showed exactly why he belongs at this level.

He produced a brilliant performance to defeat the current Russian National Champion, out-striking him and out-wrestling him, showing a mature and well-rounded MMA game against a top-level opponent. 👊

He then went on to battle it out against Tajikistan in a very close fight, narrowly missing out on the decision. His opponent went on to reach the final.

The level at IMMAF is something different. You’re competing against national champions and the very best prospects from countries all over the world. There are no easy fights and no shortcuts at this level.

For Eesa to compete the way he did is something we can take a huge amount from.

But this experience is bigger than just wins and losses. Every training session, every hard round and every fight on the world stage is part of his development.

We know where we are heading.

The goal is to become NUMBER 1 IN THE WORLD.

This tournament has only added more experience, more hunger and more belief to the journey.

Proud of you Eesa. Now it’s back to the gym, back to learning and back to work.

12 years old.

That’s how old Eesa was when he first walked through my doors as a student.

At the time, he was a young boy struggling with life, battling with his mental health and trying to find his place in the world. He needed more than just a place to learn how to fight — he needed direction, discipline, belief and people around him who genuinely wanted to see him win in life.

Over the years, I’ve watched martial arts help transform him.

From a quiet young boy who lacked confidence into a strong, disciplined and confident young man who now believes in himself and what he is capable of.

And the achievements speak for themselves.

🥇 Ranked No.1 in the UK for his age & weight.
🏴 Representing England.
🌍 Competing at the IMMAF Youth World Championships — the biggest amateur MMA tournament in the world.

But as his coach, the thing I’m proudest of isn’t a ranking, a medal or a fight.

It’s the young man he has become.

People see the fighter when he steps into the cage. They don’t always see the years of struggles, setbacks, difficult days, sacrifices and hard work that came before it.

I’ve always said that coaching is about much more than creating champions. If you can use martial arts to help a young person become more confident, disciplined, resilient and prepared for life, then you’ve achieved something far greater than any trophy.

Eesa, you’ve already come a long way — but your story is only just beginning.

From a 12-year-old kid looking for direction to the No.1-ranked fighter in the UK preparing to compete against the best young fighters in the world.

Whatever happens inside that cage, I’m proud of the person you’ve become.

Now it’s time to show the world what all those years of work were for.

We came this far for a reason. Now we’re coming for gold, Insha’Allah. 🥇🌍🏴
