A fantastic all-round performance from the 1st XI, securing a huge 105-run victory on home soil.

Between them, Mark Lester and Noah have racked up an impressive 4,302 runs… although let’s be honest, Mark has scored 4,000 of them!

Mark, the obvious batting talent of the pair, has consistently piled on the runs and shown exactly what a proper batsman looks like.

Then there’s Noah, contributing the remaining 302 runs and proving that sometimes it’s not about the runs you score, but simply the entertainment you provide along the way. A true specialist in being an idiot, but we wouldn’t have him any other way.

Another weekend of cricket for the club, with the 1st and 2nd XI both putting in some good individual performances despite the results not going our way.

🔵 SATURDAY – 1ST XI

The 1st XI welcomed Sileby Town and unfortunately came away with a 4-wicket defeat.

Alex once again led the way with the bat, putting together a valuable 55.

The 2nd XI travelled to Lough Outwoods and unfortunately lost by 60 runs.

A strong bowling performance with both Luke and H Maynell picking up three wickets each.

The 1st XI welcomed Syston Town in the L&RCL Premier 3 North and unfortunately went down by 72 runs.

The 2nd XI travelled to Egerton Park in the L&RCL Championship 4 North and unfortunately lost by 39 runs.
