Established in 1994, Burghead Sub Aqua Club (BURGSAC) has over fifty divers from trainees to advanced divers and instructors.

We're affiliated with the British Sub Aqua Club (BSAC) but welcome people wanting to learn to dive and divers from other agencies

Today Burghead Sub Aqua Club teamed up with Moray Ocean Community (MOC) to clean up our coastline around the Burghead Pipe, as part of the BSAC Marine Champion Action Weekend.

Burghead SAC took the plunge for an underwater litter pick while MOC volunteers worked the beach and completed a seaweed survey. Together we pulled up everything from fishing nets and plastic tubs to cans, bottles and even a rogue dog frisbee.

A successful day that shows how much we can achieve when we look after our shores together and just the first of many more team action days to come.

Great to have longer days again and to be able to get out for evening dives even if its still a little cold and dark. A nice dive on the Unity this eve. Looking forward to many more over the summer.....

Great club expedition to Lochaline in the Sound of Mull. We had a brilliant dive on the Thesis wreck, followed by a stunning wall dive.

Great to get the boat back in the water today for 2 lovely dives. 1st dive on the Unity in clear but slightly dark conditions and great to still see it covered in life despite winter being on the way. 2nd dive on the Nar which was covered in Cod, Ling and Lobsters.
