Longridge Youth Darts

Today's not been Longridge Youths day today. Despite a great effort from our kids they were unlucky against a good side from Salisbury and we have now been knocked out of the Target Darts interacademy competition, special shout outs go to one of our youngest players Ronnie who was unlucky to lose 2-1 in his 1st ever competitionoutside of our own academy and also well done to Josh for hitting a 180 and staying on to play extra games. Everyone who has taken part in all the rounds should be really proud as you have made it from 46 teams to the last 16. We are so pleased to support you all and will be doing this again.

Well played to Salisbury, we look forward to seeing how you do through the last 8 and hopefully beyond. 🎯

As well as this we also have players competing in the JDC vault regional finals. Unlucky to Tom Partington who made it to the quarter finals but was up against a very tough opponent Oscar Monkton. Well done Tom, it's a fantastic achievement to have made yhe regional finals. Keep it up and I'm sure you'll make it to the next one also. 🎯

Today's the day of our last 16 round of the Target Darts interacademy competition against Salisbury. 🎯

Matches will start at 11am. Good luck to all those taking part.

REMINDER-No session this weekend, 29th August, at Wilfrids Club but we will be back on 5th September when we will take on Salisbury Darts Academy in the last 16 of the Target Darts interacademy competition. 🎯

What a great end to the spring/summer premier league. Well done to all 8 finalists today from 30 entrants to make the top 8 is great for you all. You will also be the 1st 8 players in the Target Darts interacademy competition.

The results are:
Quarter Finalists - Gabe, Finn, Luke & Jensen.
Semi Finalists - Tom & Oliver
Runner Up - Isaac
Winner - Kian

Additional prizes for throughout the tournament went to:
Highest Checkout - 156 - Isaac
Most 180's - 5 - Isaac
Highest Average - 85.39 - Oliver

Next week we will be holding the plate final, quite a few were missing today 😅, the will also be a knockout for all.
