After a hard decision I have decided the time has come to move on from Longniddry Golf Club. An opportunity arose to join the Golf Academy at Loretto, which I have accepted. My last day at Longniddry will be 23rd August.

I will be keeping my membership at Longniddry as this is where I started playing my golf. It has been great to see the improvement in the Junior Section and the Ladies GIG while I have been here. Big thank you to Colin who has started my career in the golf industry and got me where I am now.

Anyone who has any vouchers or packages please let me know and we can get these sorted.

Thank you to all the members and staff who have supported me over the last few years.

Great Day For Coaching Today

Had George 10 Hcp first today one of our talented Junior members at Longniddry, working on keeping height through the downswing whilst making sure the body rotates fully through backswing - downswing transition this was allowing George to have a better club position at the top all leading to a stronger strike and consistency.

Second Lesson was with David 6 Hcp where we worked on keeping the width through the backswing to stop the club getting too close to the body. We also looked at driver trying to get David the feeling of hitting up through impact to decrease spin and increase carry.

From Thursday the 11th of April until the final putt on Sunday of the masters, I will be offering 20% of my lessons and packages to be used within 3 months.

All Set Up for our First Ladies Get Into Golf Class of 2024‼️

These are in high demand this year and we are hoping to introduce more people in the community to golf at Longniddry. In the long run to boost our ladies section at Longniddry.

These are 5 week blocks with all areas of the game covered and then a small introduction into on course play with the option to progress further.
