You do not always need to train harder.
Sometimes, training harder is exactly what is keeping you stuck.
If work is stressful, sleep is poor, your head is fried and recovery is already struggling, throwing more sessions, more cardio and more volume on top can make things worse.
Your body does not separate work stress, family stress, poor sleep and training stress into neat little boxes.
It all counts.
And when the total load gets too high, you can see:
* poorer recovery and performance
* worse sleep
* more fatigue and cravings
* increased water retention
* a scale that refuses to move
* less consistency outside the gym
So if you are training hard but your progress has stalled, the answer might not be another workout.
It might be less chaos, better recovery and a smarter plan.
This is exactly why my coaching looks at more than your gym programme. We look at the other hours of your week — work, sleep, stress, food, routines and recovery — because that is often where the real problem is hiding.
If you are a busy man or dad who is working hard, training hard and still not getting the result you should be getting, I want to hear from you.
DM me the word “STUCK” and I’ll help you identify what is actually holding your progress back.
No hard sell. We’ll have a conversation and work out whether your training is the problem… or whether your life outside the gym is sabotaging it.
