Arabesque Dance and Theatre Academy We specialise in a wide range of dance classes for both very young children through older children to adults, amateur and professional tuition.

Welcome to Arabesque Dance and Theatre Academy, situated between Derby and Nottingham in the heart of Long Eaton’s town centre. We specialise in a wide range of dance classes for both children and adults throughout Long Eaton and the surrounding areas. Established in 2008, with a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of dance teaching, we provide dance classes for all ages and abilities in a large variety of dancing styles; and in doing so, we strive to offer a safe, secure, enjoyable and caring environment in which to train our pupils in the art of dance. Our Long Eaton Dance Lessons Include:

● Freestyle
● Gymnastic Dance
● Rock & Roll
● Musical Theatre

We are an approved centre of the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA), and offer examinations, bi-annual shows, festival/competition participation and local community performances. From our fully equipped studios in Long Eaton’s market place, Arabesque Dance and Theatre Academy ensures that every one of our pupils achieve their full potential, whatever their age or ability. Every member of our staff is fully qualified, trained in First Aid and is CRB checked. Private dance lessons and personal dance tuition is also available for those pupils striving to develop their dancing skills or gain professional dance teaching qualifications.

Celebrating our gorgeous Hannah McCullough the 2026 recipient of the prestigious IDTA Pattison Thomas Memorial Award for the highest mark ballet performers examination for the midlands. An outstanding achievement with an astonishing 98% Distinction.

We have our Beginners Gymnastic Dance class every Wednesday from 4:30-5pm, and this is perfect for children wanting to begin, improve and develop their gymnastic skills😊
Our Beginners classes are for children in Pre-School, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2✨

🩵NEW CLASS Available - Starting Monday 7th September🩵

We are thrilled to announce that we have a new class added to the timetable for the 2026-27 year👏🏻
🌟Rosette Theatre Craft and Contemporary Modern Jazz🌟

This class will combine both genres of dance, allowing the dancers to learn and develop the understanding of each style, the fundamentals of the techniques, improve their strength and flexibility, and also continue to work on their stage and performance skills✨

This class will run 4:15pm-5pm every Monday, and is for dancers in school years Reception and Year 1🥰
