Happy 40th to Spar Magheramason.

John, Linda and David have supported the club in various ways over the years, which everyone at the club appreciates.

Congratulations folks…

Yesterday the 1st XI played there last home game of the season and secured a tense rain effected 3 wicket win over Coleraine CC.

Bowling first, Coleraine were bowled out for 132, with David Scanlon claiming 4 wkts and 2 each for Kenzie Hall and 15 year old Cameron McClay.

A special mention to 14 year old Khartik Shukla who claimed his first Senior wicket and we’re sure it’s the first of many.

In response, a nervous start was eased by a 50 run 3rd wicket partnership between Kenzie Hall (50) and David Rankin (20), but a few wickets and a rain delay and a revised target, meant 35 runs were needed off 9 overs.

When heavy rain arrived again, a well played 16no from Charlie Downey hd reduced the deficit 9 runs required from 3.4 overs, and DL had the 1st XI ahead of the Par score to secure the win.

The result quelled any thoughts of a relegation Play Off and with one match to go a top 3 finish is a possibility.

1st XI home to Coleraine CC as both teams battle it out to avoid the relegation play off spot.

A big thank you to Lindsey Allen for kindly sponsoring the 1st XI’s match ball.

2nd XI Away to North Fermanagh CC, in a 1st v 2nd match as the 2 teams battle it out for the League Title.

3rd XI Away to Sion Mills CC. With the hosts top of the table and a win would secure the title, our 3rd XI have a lot to play for and Sion Mills CC could possibly be there opponents in the League 2 Cup Final.

Super Saturday & Sunday for Club teams with 4 wins from 4 matches..

1st XI Win at Fox Lodge CC

Continuing on from the 2nd XI’s win, the 1st XI had an excellent 25pt win at Fox Lodge. Being ask to bowl first, they bowled the hosts for 107… with the opening pair sharing 7 wkts Anuuk claiming 4 and David Scanlon 3 wkts, who were well supported with Kenzi Hall claiming 3 victims…

In reply, openers Kyle Magee (57no) and Kenzie Hall (41no) batted with intent to secure the 25pt win in 15 overs.

4th XI win by 15 runs at Newbuildings CC

Batting first our 4th XI reached 134, thanks to a half century from Khartik, 28 from Simon Campbell and 22 from Nigel Campbell.

A great bowling display, with Harry Mutch and Cason Long with 3 wkts each and Manav Bhavsar and Khartik 2 a piece, insured a nail biting win.

5th XI win by 4 wkts at Donemana CC

Donemana batted first and posted a competitive 189 from their 30 Overs, with Jake Crumley getting 4 wkts, Mitchell Spence 2 and Tiara Mitchell 2.

In response the 5ths got off to a steady start with Ricky Spence (41), but a hard hitting 85no off 36 balls which included 11 x 6’s helped the 5ths to the win.

A nail biting 1 wkt win for our 2nd XI yesterday over Brigade CC.

Bowling first, Jordan McCorkell lead with the ball with 5 wickets and James McDermott 3 wkts, bowling the hosts out for 191.

With the bat, Suyesh Kumar lead the chase with an excellent 88 no, to clinch the win, which maintains the pressure on League Leaders North Fermanagh CC.

Next Saturday our 2nds travel to Kesh in what could be a title decider.

It wasn’t to be today for our U17 Girls today as they came up against a very strong Merrion CC in the All Ireland CC.

Congratulations to Merrion CC who went on to beat Holywood CC in the Final.

That brings a close to the 2026 season for our female section and the girls / women can be very proud in what they’ve achieved throughout the season, with the U11 & U13 teams winning their leagues, U18 Girls winning the Cup and the Senior 1st XI Winning the Division 1 League.
