The Fit Mind Flex..
Is this the real flex for business owners??
This week a few of the lads were sharing their whoop data and recovery scores in our private group.
And men being men it got a little competitive!
One of our members inspired by another’s scores shared he’s coming for his HRV 🤣👏
Success with s**t habits just means you still feel like s**t, nothing changes!
For me this is success.
A sharp mind a rested nervous system and a business owner who is able to show up properly in life, not just business.
If you’re interested in taking your mind body and business up a notch this year.
The wait list for September is now open.
Spaces are limited to around 8-10 and filling up fast.

What are you so afraid of losing?
Fear operates in two directions:
Fear of loss... the business, the reputation, the income, the identity you've built around success.
Fear of gain... the failure, the judgment, the thing you don't want to become.
Loss is the bigger one.
I see it consistently.
Marcus Aurelius: "What are you so afraid to lose when nothing in this world belongs to you?"
The work isn't about being fearless its about understanding it better.
It's about taking whatever or whoever you have on a pedestal back down again so you regain control.
I break it down in this short video.

What's on your pedestal right now?
Why Your Fear Is Getting Louder (And What It’s Actually Telling You)
Most men think fear means something’s wrong. It doesn’t.Fear rises in direct proportion to what matters to you. The bigger the goal, the louder the signal and...

I noticed a pattern in my group this week something I wasn't aware of until the men inside our community shared it..
Three different men shared how long they've been off the booze.
One of them I was aware of we'd spoken about it 1-1 and he'd wanted some help around it.
The other two I had no idea about.
One has been off it for two months, his longest stint ever.
Another is now six weeks in.
There's no rallying cry in our community for anyone to kick this habit.
But for me it really emphasises the influence of a positive environment and how much your environment shapes you.
Some of the men I coach haven't drank in years, long before we started working together.
Some still enjoy a drink.
Some have stopped since we began.
The point is this.
The men in business I coach all want to perform better, feel more fulfilled, have better energy, and show up differently in their lives and businesses.
There are so many hacks you can add in to increase wellbeing and performance..
. but I don't think there is anything as powerful as subtraction.
Not addition.
Most men I work with are in their late 30s into their 50s.
Testosterone naturally starts to decline at this stage.
Add in weekends of booze which promotes oestrogen, the predominant female hormone and watch your testosterone tank.
In business, think loss of drive, ambition, motivation.
In life loss of healthy s*x drive, connection with your partner, youthfulness and so much more.
You make it harder to lose fat and gain muscle, while at the same time wrecking your sleep and recovery with every drink.
Take all your latest biohacks.
Add them all up.
I'd argue none would have the same impact as removing consistent weekly boozing from your life.
I can say this with confidence as I have done most of them for years.
So when I saw the guys share it in their wins in our private community this week something we do every week, and heard the benefits they'd experienced, I was genuinely surprised.
And genuinely pleased.
My immediate thought was I love it.
Keep going.
It gets easier and it gets better with time.
Performance enhancement in any shape or form is not always about addition.
It is about subtraction.
One client said: "I feel so good I'm doubting I'll ever touch it again."
I told him don't put that pressure on yourself.
I've been there before and then drank again.
For now, just stay present, stay focused on your business, and hold the mindset of I'm giving it a break.
That's enough.
I have shared some of my own experiences since quitting almost 4 years ago here.

I get a lot of private messages from men on this one topic.
If this resonates don’t be afraid to drop me a DM.

Never feel like an imposter again.
Most men in business know this feeling.
The quiet voice that says you’re not good enough.
That someone’s about to find out.
That you don’t belong or fit in to places you’ve worked hard to get too.
It creates fear.
Insecurity.
And it stops you showing up the way you’re capable of.
In this morning’s video I break down exactly why it happens and how to end it.

Fit Mind Member Spotlight.
Eoin has been part of The Fit Mind since last year.
A group for men who want to strengthen their mind, body and business.
At the start of this year he decided to kick the booze and he's reaping the benefits of being alcohol free in 2026.
It's genuinely great to see.
He said recently "Since I joined the Fit Mind group, I feel content for the first time in a long time."
That one resonates..
Because probably the single biggest thing men in business struggle with is feeling content while still having growing ambitions and goals.
Most think they have to choose one or the other.
It's no coincidence to me that when you remove habits like booze, add in consistent training, get clear and aligned in your values and goals, and surround yourself with a network of men on the same path you start to experience what Eoin has this year.
Eoin's a busy man.
Growing family.
Fantastic growing business.
A lot on his plate.
So what's making the difference?
Consistency.
He shows up to the group calls, in his training, and in his highest values.
When you're aligned, motivation becomes irrelevant.
You just move.
Keep up the great work, Eoin. 💪
