Another fantastic Tullyally Summer Scheme has come to an end after two fun-filled weeks! ☀️❤️
Over the past fortnight, almost 40 children joined us, making memories, having fun, and building friendships that will last a lifetime.
We enjoyed brilliant centre-based days with Skill School, football, rounders, and even some baking, before heading off on fantastic trips to Jungle NI, Alley Cats, and Lurgybrack Open Farm. Every single child was an absolute credit, and it was a pleasure to watch their confidence grow and see them enjoying every moment together.
A massive thanks to SPAR Church Brae who donated water, crisps and treats for this years activities ❤️ much appreciated.
A huge thank you to all the children and families for choosing to spend their summer with us. We are also incredibly grateful to the Peace Impact Programme for funding such a wonderful summer scheme and helping make these opportunities possible.
Most importantly, I want to thank our incredible team of volunteers. Your dedication, patience, enthusiasm, and commitment made this year's summer scheme such a success. You are a real credit to our community, and we simply couldn't do it without you. ❤️
A special shout-out to Bobby, who had a wee accident yesterday. We're all thinking of you and wishing you a speedy recovery, wee man. ❤️
Thank you all once again for making this year's summer scheme so special. Here's to making next year even bigger and better! 🥳👏🏻

Visable from our centre tonight until midnight! Thank you to North West Cultural Partnership and a massive well done on the Exodus Programme 👏🏻
Tonight you may have noticed spotlights projected into the sky from 5 parts of the City. This visual display is part of our ‘Exodus Day’ symbolising the geographical impact of the Protestant displacement during the Troubles.
It follows on from the publication earlier of our report ‘Where have all the Prods Gone? Conflict and Displacement; The PUL Exodus and its impact in Londonderry’ The Report examines the displacement and relocation of Protestant, Unionist and Loyalist (PUL) families from the West bank of the River Foyle during the period of conflict from 1968 to 1998 and its impact on PUL community development.
Commonly described within the PUL community as “the Exodus”, this movement significantly changed the demographic, social, religious, educational and political character of Derry/Londonderry. In total, the study involved 116 participants, ranging in age from 25 to over 65 and included displaced residents, people who remained on the west bank, former neighbours, clergy, educators, community workers and political representatives.
The display signifies how many moved from the Fountain estate on the West Bank to communities such as Newbuidings, Tullyally, Lincoln Courts, and Nelson Drive and will remain in place until midnight. If you would like a copy of the report then please let us know.
