From our Kitchen Social Hub to a room full of VIPs — this is what happens when you back young people
Yesterday our young people (with Gill from the MFL) stood in front of some of the country’s most senior figures — including Prime Minister Andy Burnham and London Mayor Sadiq Khan — at the launch of Sainsbury’s Kickstarter initiative, an employment scheme targeting young people, and spoke about the work we do together.
They were phenomenal. Confident, articulate, proud. Exactly the kind of moment we work every day to create.
None of it happens without the people behind the scenes:

This is a team effort, and yesterday our young people showed exactly why it’s worth it.
