rare hens by our reg! aka violent hen aka angry chook. reg mombassas first design for mambo which was seen in a myriad of manifestations across the years. adapted from the chooks on Mental As Anything 7” cover art for let’s go to paradise, dare jennings then commissioned reg for a print yardage…. & the rest is hysteria. my feature is another hoody banger with gaping throat. i’ve attempted to distinguish violent from rare hens but they appear identical & maybe the latter reference came later. this one’s a keeper but more volatile poultry to follow.

inter dimensional mambo grailology❗️ the mad hatter meets beetle juice desert door in a surrealist hoody designed by our reg that is other-worldly! owns a similar example without the gaping bile green hoody element & also did some research into the print. it appears to be linked to the reg opera house guitar, with elaborated hairy tongues, organ failures & worm holes to an alternate reality. i wasn’t able to add anything to his deep-dive apart from the staoragemen sculpture with similar motifs. when i met mambo founder dare jennings at the epic showcase, he was shook & asked me if it was custom! i thought perhaps it was italian license product but curiosly mine was sourced & made in england….
