Our local MP says he wants to keep The Ballot Box as a pub.

Like many local people, I was shocked by the sudden closure of the Ballot Box pub on Horsenden Lane North.

When I heard that the owner, Greene King, were planning to sell the site, I arranged an urgent meeting with their chief executive to see if they would reconsider. Although Greene King held firm on selling the site, they gave me a personal assurance they will do all they can to sell the site to another pub operator or similar buyer.

After meeting the Greene King chief executive, I then arranged to meet the director of AG&G - the company acting as agents in the sale. When I met them in early July, I was encouraged to hear they had received a number of potentially viable offers from prospective buyers who would keep the building in use as a pub.

I have asked Greene King to keep me updated on any progress. I will continue pushing for them to sell to another pub operator if at all possible, so that the Ballot Box can continue to serve the local community as a pub for years to come.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate their graduation from Supported Internship Programme, run bu University of West London, with Ealing Mencap and West London College.

🌟 This vital scheme provides hands-on workplace training for students with additional needs. Our interns bring so much vibrant energy, dedication, and joy to the library—they truly make the Cafe a thriving, welcoming hub for our entire community!
