We’re delighted to share some good news!
Dare2Dance Company CIC has been awarded through the Space2Grow Fund to support the next stage of our early years work in Barnet.
This funding will help us continue developing Move, Play & Grow, our early movement programme for young children and their parents/carers, using movement, art and creative play to support communication, confidence, physical development and connection.
A huge thank you to Young Barnet Foundation and the Space2Grow funders for believing in our work and helping us make these sessions accessible to local families.
We’re looking forward to another year of moving, playing, growing and connecting together.

African Dance at the 3rd Be Well Family Dance Festival 2026
What an incredible energy this workshop brought to artsdepot!
Led by Nii Boye Owoo & Nii Kwartey Owoo, families came together through African dance, traditional rhythms and live drumming moving, stomping, clapping and responding to each other across generations.
This short trailer captures some of the joy, rhythm and shared energy that filled the room and later spilled onto the stage for our fantastic festival finale.
Thank you Nii Boye and Nii Kwartey for bringing such wonderful energy to BeWell, and thank you to every family who joined in.

A look back at the 3rd Be Well Family Dance Festival 2026! Over the next few posts, we’ll be sharing short videos from each of the workshops that filled artsdepot with movement, music, creativity and families dancing together.
From toddlers and their grown-ups to parents, grandparents and children of all ages, BeWell was about experiencing different cultures and dance styles together.
Our workshops included Mediterranean Fusion, Bollywood Dance, Street Dance & Hip-Hop, African Dance, Groove Together, and Art & Movement for Under-5s, led by our wonderful artists:
Nii Kwartey Owoo, Claudia Massera, Michael Joseph (MJ), Archita Kumar, Maga Radlowska - Judd & Nadia Lord.
And here is our festival trailer capturing just some of the energy of the workshops, performances and the incredible finale when the whole theatre got up and danced!
A huge thank you to everyone who took part and made the 3rd BeWell such a special day.

What an amazing end to our year! Now we definitely deserve our summer break.
These photos show just a few of the wonderful groups Maga Radlowska - Judd and/or Dare2Dance Company have been dancing and creating with this year.
From Contemporary Dance 55+ at artsdepot and Creative Dance 55+ with live music, to teaching Middlesex University dance students, working with children and their grown-ups, asylum seekers, community workshops, performances, festivals, and our recent summer school with students from Hainan, China it has been a full year of movement, connection and creativity.
Big thanks to the The National Lottery Community Fund to support our regular classes.
Different ages, different bodies, different experiences but the same joy of moving together.
A huge thank you to everyone who has danced, performed, experimented, laughed and created with us this year.
Now for a little rest before we start again in September!

What a day at HOST Festival 2026!
Our Dare2Dance 55+ Ensemble had the privilege of opening this wonderful celebration of dance and age at DanceEast in Ipswich. We began with a promenade performance, leading the audience through the building before taking to the stage with Together We Rise.
This piece celebrates connection, courage, humour and the joy of moving together. Watching our dancers adapt so beautifully to a completely new performance format made me incredibly proud. They embraced every challenge with generosity, commitment and so much heart.
A huge thank you to DanceEast and EncoreEast for inviting us to be part of such an inspiring event, and to all the artists, volunteers and audiences who made the day so special.
Most of all, thank you to our amazing dancers AND OUR CHOREOGRAPHER Maga Radlowska - Judd. You remind us that creativity, expression and connection have no age limit.
