By building a bond with your community, you create new pathways to club growth 🌱
What you give to your community, they will give back. Reach out to local businesses, schools, or community groups to chat, start building a rapport, and explore how you can work together to benefit your local area. Show the people around your club that you want to support them, and they will be more likely to support you in kind.
Early results could start as small as posting your flyer in a shop window or a raffle prize in a club fundraiser, but over time, if you keep building these relationships with community members, it could lead to collaborative events at your clubhouse, partnerships with local schools, or sponsorship for your club.
All you need to do to start is say hello! Let us know if you have any other tips or suggestions below 💬

Send this to a volunteer you appreciate! ⚽
Grassroots is the foundation of the game we all know and love, so many of England's football icons began their journeys at their local club, facilitated and empowered by the incredible volunteers that make it all happen.
So to all of you out there making grassroots football possible, getting involved on or off the pitch, or even cheering in the stands, thank you for everything that you do to keep the foundations of English football strong ❤️🤍
