Now the dust has settled on the Ultimate Pool USA Kansas City Open I've had time to reflect.

What an incredible event with so many wow moments.

If I could ask everyone to appreciate my team and the team at Side Pockets Blue Springs for doing a phenomenal job. I'm blessed to have the team I do, from the set up crew, production staff, referees and my home office team. Events like these dont work unless you have a world class team in place. There were challenges, tragedy and long days (you wouldn't have noticed). We've become a family and the excitement seeing them will never grow old to me. ❤️

To sell out the Open in 2 minutes and all events within 7 minutes total is super humbling. No organisation in the US is doing that. To the players who are parting with their money to support us, we appreciate you more than you know. We have built an incredible pool family on this journey, who in turn have made memories and most importantly had fun.

The Road To Cherokee started the day after we finished last year. We learned valuable lessons and have worked to bring you an event we hope you love. Spots in the Open will go on sale next weekend and I hope to see you there, so I can thank you personally for your support.

A couple of other things built with the players in mind
1. Practice at our Grand Finals is free. You've spent time, effort and energy making it that far, the least we can do is give you free practice.
2. We'll always work with venues to cater to every budget at the concessions, so reasonably priced food and drink options will always be available.
3. We want you to have real life moments with the pro players who attend, that will never change. Make sure you grab a sharpie.
4. This event is about the PLAYERS. Not us. The players are the DNA of Ultimate Pool USA and this will never change.

🥉 Semi-Finalists – $20,000 each
🎱 Quarter-Finalists – $10,000 each
🔥 Last 12 Teams – $5,000 each

💰 Total 8-Ball Team Prize Fund: $262,000

The teams competing this November are still battling to earn their place, with the Grand Finals Qualifiers now underway as the season reaches its closing stages.

Great vibes yesterday announcing Justin Bergman 's Ultimate Pool USA Hall of Fame induction and to top it off, he completed the Ultimate Pool USA Grand Slam snapping off the 10 Ball. One final day to go. Thank you everyone for supporting us.
