In reading the book, Happier, by Tal Ben-Shahar, I recognise this experience of Flow as one the many reasons why I love the STRONG program. Because it takes into account the skill level of the participant and offers degrees of challenge, there is a constant feeling of FLOW during the class. Its neither too difficult or boring...the horizon is always shifting away from you as you attain more fitness and skill.

The song is "PUSH"....It's also the name of the 3rd quadrant in STRONG by Zumba that asks you "to Push Your Limits." Q3 is only 8-12 minutes of full body movements that should leave you breathless; peaks of high intesity full body movements (30-120 seconds) followed by short active recovery and repeat again. Q3 uses basic movement patterns in pylometeric sequences to drive intensity. (see the link below for more information*). If you can talk, you're not working hard enough! This 60 minute class is taught on 3 levels so it should be "doable" for any level of fitness, whether you're a beginner, intermediate or more progressive athlete. Once you're moving to the music...you'll hardly notice how hard you've been working. Come try it and see! First Class is free!! You'll need trainers, a towel and some water! Packages* & discounts** available, $10 walk-in.

We teach STRONG on 3 levels to provide opportunity for those just beginning to come to exercise class, a base level for those already on a fitness track, and a progressive level for those who need more of a challenge. The music is so good, trust me, you’ll want to do more! Come and see if its for you. Check the video out for the three progressions.
