Old Merchant Taylors' Hockey Club is an open and friendly, yet competitive club. OMTHC is based at Merchant Taylors' School.

We have Men's, Womens and Juniors sections, playing at the best facilities in London! We play on a state-of-the-art water-based astroturf, with our own Clubhouse next to the pitch. We are committed to provide a friendly, yet challenging environment, where players of all abilities can enjoy, develop and improve their hockey. Dawn Powell, a much-loved member of the Eastcote hockey community, sadly lost her fight with cancer on Tuesday. She was not only a respected player, but a genuinely wonderful person who brought a real zest for life to everyone around her.
Dawn had a way of reminding us what sport is really about. She didn’t need the latest kit or any of the extras—often turning up with everything in a simple plastic bag—but her presence, spirit, and love for the game spoke volumes. Whether it was warming up in the rain with an umbrella in hand or sharing a laugh on the sidelines, she brought warmth and character wherever she went.
She will be deeply missed by teammates, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Our thoughts are with her family and loved ones at this incredibly difficult time.
