Haringey Hounds Junior Ice Hockey Club

🏒 𝗪𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 - 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗨𝟭𝟰 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝟮 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 🏒

The Haringey Hounds junior ice hockey club have a few spots available on their U14B team for the 2026-27 season. This is for players with some experience in the 2013-2014 birth years.

📍 Training is at Alexandra Palace every Monday and Friday evening and some Sunday mornings. Training starts again in late August. 🗓️

Team Hockey at its BEST 💪🔥
Last weekend, our U10 squad brought home GOLD from the Godiva Cross-Nations Cup. They played against the powerhouse clubs of Sheffield, Nottingham and Coventry, ultimately clinching the full-ice final 2-1 against Coventry; the team who had narrowly beaten us twice in the round-robin qualifiers.

This was full-roster hockey at its finest. Every line fought their hardest every shift. Every single player made key contributions at critical moments:
A winger dropping back to cover the point when a D stepped up to shoot. A defenceman skating their heart out to catch and block a breakaway. Our third line of youngest players capping their masterclass - zero opponent goals against their line the entire second day - by scoring the game winner. Players giving it their all, again and again.

But the best part? Huge smiles all weekend: before games, after games, over meals, playing air hockey. That’s the whole point.

Huge thanks to the organisers for a brilliantly run, welcoming tournament, and to these brilliant clubs for the great hockey.

The Eastern Stars have once again stepped up to support the Haringey Hounds, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

For many years, Eastern Stars have been true friends of our club. There are strong connections between our organisations, with former Stars involved in Haringey Hounds management, and children of original Stars now proudly wearing the Hounds jersey.

Tonight’s Captains’ Clash isn’t just about White vs Blue. It’s about a hockey community coming together to support young players and the future of the game.

Huge thank you to everyone who took part in the first Haringey Hounds x Hockey Base camp last weekend 🙌 and to the Hockey Base crew for also running the coaches’ training and team practices on Friday and Monday.

Although our U16G team narrowly missed out on the playoffs, many of our players proudly represented other clubs across the Women's leagues — from Division 2 all the way to Elite — and did both themselves and the Hounds proud.

Fantastic effort, ladies — the future is bright!
