​Quick Tips to Perfect Your Form:
💛​Keep those hips square: It’s tempting to let the hip of your lifted leg twist open to the side. Keep your back toes pointed straight down at the mat to keep your pelvis level.
💛​Micro-bend the standing knee: Don't lock it out! Keeping a tiny, soft bend protects your joint and actually helps activate the surrounding muscles for better stability.
💛​Use props if you need them: Rest your hands on blocks or use a wall for support to focus on lengthening your spine first.

Twisted lunge challenges us to find two things simultaneously: strong, unshakeable roots in the legs, and a soft, receptive heart space as we rotate.
​It’s easy to focus solely on how deep the twist goes, but the real magic happens in the breath. Can you find expansion in the chest even when the body is compressed?
​Next time you practice this shape, try focusing less on the destination of the twist and more on the quality of your breath along the way.
