Peter Walker the pioneering founder of developmental baby massage sadly passed away last week.

His work and the way he connected with babies and children is legendary and a sight to see.

He has been a shining light for so many people for so long but through his direct teaching but the countless teachers he taught over the years who carry on his amazing work. God knows how many lives he saved and transformed through his work and enthusiasm was ridiculously contagious.

I am grateful to him for teaching me when we first met in about 1985 that it’s okay to fart in a yoga class as one of his key teachings for me. And I’m also incredibly grateful for his endless positivity and support in my yogacentre endeavours. He taught baby massage with us in Primrose Hill almost from the day we opened in 2000 for many years with every class sold out.

And over the last year we had talked about him coming to HOME.

it’s one of those classic things when you realise you won’t see or hear someone again who you know that you love and you only hope that they know how much you loved them.

Many blessings to Peter and his amazing soul that delighted the world. There’s that question, do you leave the world having benefited from your existence - in his case, absolutely.

God bless you, Peter. ❤️

Handstands take practice, practice and you guessed it! More practice.

It takes strength you did not know you had. Patience you have to build. A willingness to fall and try again without making it mean something about you.

And then one day, for a second, you find it. Your whole body quiet, your arms steady, the floor a long way down. Time does something strange. Everything else disappears.

We work on inversions in our classes at HOME. Whether you are just beginning to kick up or you have been working on it for years, there is something here for you.

Come and find out what your body is capable of.

New at HOME: Jump Board Reformer.

Add cardio to your Reformer practice. The jump board turns the carriage into a low-impact trampoline, building power, coordination and heart rate work alongside the strength and control you already know from Reformer Pilates.

A full-body workout that's tough, fun and easy on the joints.

New Style at HOME: Myo Yin with Nicky Hadjithoma.

Myofascial release meets the long, slow holds of Yin Yoga. The combination works deeper than either practice alone. Tension held in the connective tissue begins to shift. The nervous system settles. The body opens in ways that are hard to find anywhere else.

Nicky is one of the key teachers to have brought Yin Yoga to Asia, founder of the Yintelligence School and trained directly under Paul Grilley and Sarah Powers. She specialises in functional anatomy and adapts every posture to meet the individual body.

Her practice has been part of her own long-term recovery since 2008. That depth shows.

Pranayama sounds intimidating. It doesn't need to be.

The breathing practices described in traditional texts were built by and for ascetics, whose goal was self-liberation, not getting through a Tuesday in 2026. Richard Rosen adapts these ancient techniques, respecting the tradition while making them genuinely useful for how we actually live.

This online workshop moves through preparatory exercises, a shavasana mini-session where you meet your Witness, and basic pranayama breaths and techniques, first reclining, then seated. What you do with it afterwards is up to you. Richard calls that the true yoga practice: everyday life.

Richard began practising in 1980, trained at the San Francisco BKS Iyengar Yoga Institute, and co-founded a school with Rodney Yee in Oakland. He has written six books on yoga, including two on pranayama.

Please have your props ready: at minimum three blankets, two blocks and a belt, plus a bolster if you have one. Some experience with asana or meditation is recommended but not required.

Sunday 6th September | 5.00pm – 7.00pm UK time | £50

You'll explore arm balance variations, floating from ground and from air, peacocks and other postures inspired by 4Beat and Ashtanga.

Anyone with a solid foundational practice is welcome. Beginners with a daily practice and more experienced students alike will find something to work with.

Emily has been teaching since 2014, trained across Ashtanga Vinyasa, Rocket Yoga, Mandala and Yin. She brings a creative, sequenced approach to every class she teaches.
