Local Cricket Club in Croydon. All are welcome to join our friendly teams! Founded in 1878, the Old Whitgiftian Cricket Club is part of the Whitgift Sports Club.
Until 1970, all members of the Cricket Club were former pupils of Whitgift School. However, in recent years the Club has been open to cricketers of all abilities. Senior Cricket takes place at the Clubhouse on Saturday and Sunday afternoons between mid-April and mid-September. The Old Whitgiftian Cricket Club 1st XI plays in Surrey Championship Division 1.
