First things first, yes that is me. It is not AI generated, I have included 2, yes TWO Cardio sessions to my training. Let me explain.
I've made the decision to take 12 months off competing. I've been competing in Powerlifting for 12 years and I have truly loved every competition I have done and owe so much to Powerlifting, however. It's got to a point now where I have to prioritize other areas of my life.
I will still train for Strength, but now introduce some sessions where I work on my β€οΈ and π« one session will be dedicated what is called "Norwegian 4x4" and the other will be 10 rounds of 20kcals on the Skierg. Simple.
My plan is to simply build my strength as well as work on my cardiovascular system, don't worry Hyrox I won't get involved I'll give you guys a chance to do your thing without getting shown up π«

Bants aside I can't complain
Going into this my training has been up and down and to be honest it was my first time going into a competition with not many expectations. So to come out 2nd place, not my best performance but in comparison to last year's Euro performance A LOT better so all and all progress is there.
Big shout-out to my coach each and every time, such a privilege to work with you. Another shout-out to for keeping me from regressing into Robocop π though from some of the exercises you have me doing I'll be moving better than Shakira π
And of course my FiancΓ© keeping me focused and constantly giving me positive affection and affirmations to not let my mood plummet if in doubt.
Now, I'll take a break from any major competitions. I've been competing for 12 years straight, and though I relished every single year I've competed I need to give myself a bit of a rest. Mentally. I will still Powerlift and compete but for now I want to enjoy training, without any pressure, without taking more time off, just concentrate on myself, my business and our relationship β€οΈ
