Aquarius Archery Club

We had another great Short Metric League match earlier this month, this time welcoming Bowmen of Harrow back to Aquarius!

We took the win on made score in both the Recurve and Barebow matches 🙌

It was a hot one, but a fab day of shooting, and it was lovely to see so many Harrow archers make the trip over to join us 💖

Club shoots from dawn to dusk for disabled archers An archery club celebrated its 60th anniversary with a 16-hour Dawn to Dusk charity shoot, raising £775 for the Access Archery Fund to support disabled archers.

Huzzah! What a fantastic day of archery merriment at the return of our Longbow & Barebow Tournament! 🏹

We were honoured to welcome back the Sheriff of Rottingham, who kept the day running brilliantly (despite handing out more than a few “fines” 🫣). It was also wonderful to see so many archers embracing the spirit of the day by coming along in costume.

A huge thank you to all of our volunteers, everyone who travelled to shoot with us, our Target Captain Liam, our President and Lady Paramount Maggie, and of course our sponsor Chiltern Archery for their continued support. 🙌

Congratulations to our Rory for taking home gold at the Archery GB Junior National Outdoor Championships last weekend in both the 900-30 and Windsor 30 rounds in the U12 Open Longbow category 🥇🙌
