A little weekend reminder: Make time for something that brings you joy;
- a coffee in the sun
- a walk
- a good book
- a gym class
- dancing around your kitchen
It doesn’t have to be big.
Intentional living is choosing what matters most.
Happy weekend!

Working mum, you were never meant to do it all alone.
Many of us believe we should be able to manage everything on our own (work, children, home ect…).
The truth is, no one was meant to carry all of that alone.
Building a support network doesn’t mean you’re weak. It means you understand that asking for help is part of living a healthier and happier life.
Your support network could be your family, friends, colleagues, childcare, parents from your kids school or a community of women who understand what you’re going through.
You don’t have to do everything by yourself.
Who are the people in your support network you’re grateful for? Tag them below

So many women feel overwhelmed but don’t realise they’re carrying an invisible mental load.
Last week, I had the privilege of co-hosting an evening at Deloitte with The WIT Network UK, bringing women together to shine a light on the invisible mental load so many carry every day.
Mental load isn’t just having a lot to do.
It’s the constant planning, remembering, organising, anticipating and decision-making that so many women carry every day at work and at home.
One thing became clear: women don’t need to do it all alone. They need more support, better systems, and a stronger community.
Listening to so many women share their experiences was a reminder that mental load isn’t a personal failure. It’s a shared challenge, and the first step towards change is talking about it.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and to our speaker, Sam Bramwell, for helping bring this important conversation to life.
This is a conversation I’m passionate about because I believe ambitious women shouldn’t have to choose between growing their careers and protecting their wellbeing.
What is one thing that would help reduce your mental load?

How much of your day is spent doing work that nobody sees?
The planning.
The organising.
The remembering.
The coordinating.
The emotional labour.
So many women carry these invisible responsibilities every day, yet we rarely talk about the impact they have on our wellbeing, careers, finances, and relationships.
That’s one of the reasons I am excited to be organising our upcoming WIT Network event with Sam Bramwell on The Six Invisible Labour Pillars.
We’ll be exploring the hidden mental load many women carry and sharing practical strategies for navigating it more intentionally.
If this resonates with you, I would love for you to join us.
Date: Wednesday 17 June
Location: Deloitte, London

As working mums, we’re often so busy juggling work, family life and endless to-do lists that socialising is the first thing to disappear from the calendar.
This week, I met a former colleague for after-work drinks with a view over London.
It reminded me that making time for relationships isn’t a luxury. It’s one of the things that helps us grow, both personally and professionally.
Some of my best opportunities and friendships have come from conversations over coffee, lunch or a drink after work.
Yet so many mums put this off because life feels too busy.
A little reminder that building and maintaining relationships matters too.
If you can, make time for it at least once a month.
Sometimes a simple conversation can move the needle more than we realise.

Most of the time, it’s the simple moments that matter most. Kids won’t remember a perfect house, a perfect schedule or a perfect day.
They’ll remember the time we spent with them, how present we were, and how we made them feel.
This weekend, we enjoyed the Arsenal celebrations in North London. A great afternoon filled with joy and excitement.
Let’s stop trying to be perfect and focus on being present.

Hello June. Halfway through the year already.
I’m doing a mid-year reset to make sure I’m being intentional with my time, energy, and priorities.
I’m reflecting on what’s working, what needs improving, and what I want more of in the next 6 months.
I’m also checking in on the goals I set at the beginning of the year and making sure I’m taking the right actions to move them forward.
As a working mum, it’s easy to stay busy and go on autopilot without taking time to reflect.
For the rest of the year, I’m choosing to be intentional about my priorities:
- Health and fitness
- Career growth
- Personal growth
- Being present with my family
I believe that small intentional actions, repeated daily, create big changes over time.
What are you focusing on for the second half of the year?
