For us, padel became something much bigger than a sport. It became a reason to put the phones down, get out of the house and spend proper time together.

And that’s what we want SmashPad to help more people discover.

We’re building this for beginners, families, couples, mates and anyone who’s looked at padel and thought… “I’d actually quite like to give that a go.”

No jargon. No intimidation. No convincing you that you need a £300 racket before you’ve even hit your first ball.

Just honest guidance, beginner-friendly equipment and hopefully a community that makes taking that first step a little easier.

Britain just had its biggest padel week ever — Premier Padel’s first ever UK event wrapped up today at Olympia, Nike launched their first padel rackets, and Decathlon set up shop at the tournament.

Padel isn’t a “trend” anymore. It’s just here.

But you don’t need to be chasing pro titles to fall in love with it. I picked up a racket during one of the hardest periods of my life, and it changed things for me — that’s genuinely why SmashPad exists.
