Meet Dan, the newest coach at Endeavour! 👋🏼

“I’m originally from Somerset and have lived in London now for the past 4 years. I’ve been coaching for 10 years, working across gyms, health clubs, private studios, and online.

My interest in coaching started through my own sporting background. I played rugby from a young age up until my mid 20s, reaching the national leagues. After a few years away from the sport, I recently returned to playing last year. During that time away, I got into running and completed my first marathon in 2024.

Along the way I’ve managed my own training and performance through injury, and that’s exactly what shapes how I coach now. I specialise in helping people who’ve come through injury get back to training properly, and stay injury-free.

Fun fact about me: I’m a big fan of cold sea dips, and once took a cold plunge in the Arctic Circle 🥶

I’m excited to begin coaching classes at Endeavour and to meet the community! See you all soon!”

Dan will be taking over Tuesday and Thursday mornings classes in the coming weeks!

Keep an eye on the timetable and get booked in!

The main focus of this mornings session was pulling funny faces 🤪😂

It’s harder than it looks!

Member wins don’t always come in the form of winning running races 🏃‍♀️ or setting new PB’s 🏋🏼‍♂️

Sometimes a win is inspiring others and proving to yourself that you are more capable than you think.

Endurance phase starts Monday! 🫁🔋💪🏼

We’ve come to the end of our speed phase 🏃🏻💨

Next, we turn up the volume and focus on building that engine!

It’s all about building a big aerobic base and increasing work capacity.

This phase is made up of 3 x 4 week blocks, culminating in a HYROX simulation at the end of September.

Sunday morning runs will be every other Sunday with a key focus on tempos, intervals and improving running mechanics to enhance running efficiency.

Let’s build that engine! 🔥

Working on staying snappy with reactive sprints in our forge classes ⚡️

Most people think you just go to the gym to lift weights, do burpees or used use the cardio equipment…

At Endeavour we see sprinting as one of the most important and beneficial qualities to training for long term health, fitness and athletic performance.

Yes, it’s important to lift heavy and build strength, but that strength is pointless if you can’t use it when it counts.

Train with purpose. Train with intensity. Train with Endeavour.

Want to improve your speed around the court, track, field or just running for the bus?

You want to know what hard work looks like.

We decided to bottle it.

After hundreds of deadlifts, squats, sled pushes, push ups, lunges, and HYROX sessions, this is what’s left behind on the gym floor.

A rich blend of consistency, effort, determination… and whatever came off everyone’s trainers.

We’re considering launching it as our newest recovery drink, but early testing suggests it tastes exactly how it looks.

Jokes aside, this is just part of running a gym. The floor sees every rep, every drop of sweat, every early morning session, and every late-night workout. Keeping the place clean is all part of creating an environment where people can come in and put in the work.

So if you’ve ever wondered where all your hard work goes…

It ends up in down the drain.

Most runners think getting better at running just means running more.

But as mileage and intensity increase, strength training becomes essential.

Not just for performance, but for injury prevention, resilience, and handling training load.

Adam came to Endeavour because he knew if he wanted to run faster he needed to prioritise his strength training alongside his running, and he just smashed his previous PB by 10 minutes!

At Endeavour, we are experts in performance-focused strength and conditioning designed to improve strength, speed, power, endurance, for long term health and athleticism.

Whether you’re training for a race, a sport, or simply want to feel stronger and more capable in everyday life.

If you want training that actually supports performance, apply now for our 2-week trial ⚡
