The sun definitely shone down on our 708 smiling participants, it definitely didn’t put off 134 first timers or stop 80 new Personal Bests.🎉🎉
Thanks, of course, to our 47 amazing volunteers (plus Maisie and Bertie) for making it possible, congratulations to today’s milestones including Sarrah’ 25th, Bob’s 50th, John’s 100th Volunteering and Harry’s amazing 500th, with a happy 26th birthday to Silas!🎉🎉

We’re expecting it to be a warm one tomorrow (probably not ideal for dogs🐶) so come prepared and we’ll see you for a 9am start (8.50am for First Timers’ Welcome) ☀️☀️

It looks like it might be another hot one on Saturday, so sharing our cool advice again for runners, walkers and, of course dogs!!

We can’t promise Dame Kelly Holmes again, we can’t promise an England win but we can promise that an email to Louisa, with your parkrun ID to [email protected] will have you scaling the heights with the smiliest volunteer team!

What was going to be a great Pride parkrun got even better when Dame Kelly Holmes joined us to get 738 participants off to an amazing start with her inspirational speech, welcoming 135 First Timers (definitely picked the right day) and an excellent 87 PBs.
Huge thanks to our amazing 52 volunteers (plus Bertie and Maisie) for making it possible and congratulations to all todays milestones, including Scott’s 100th and happy 36th birthday to Hannah🎉
Of course, a huge thank you to Dame Kelly for making our Pride parkrun so special!! 🏳️‍🌈🎉🌈
