And just like that… Camp Phoenix 2026 is a wrap! 🎉

What an incredible six weeks it’s been! From sailing ⛵ and kayaking 🚣 to canoeing 🛶 and paddleboarding 🌊, our campers have taken on new challenges, learned new skills and made memories that will last long after the summer is over.

We’ve watched confidence grow, friendships form and plenty of skills develop, all while enjoying some seriously fun days out on the water! ☀️

A massive thank you to all of our brilliant campers for bringing the energy and enthusiasm every week, and to our amazing instructors and volunteers for making it all possible. 💙

Six weeks. Countless adventures. One unforgettable summer. 🌊🔥

The final week of Camp Phoenix is officially underway, and we’re going out with a splash! ☀️

Our campers have been making the most of their last few days on the water, with plenty of sailing ⛵, kayaking 🚣, canoeing 🛶 and paddleboarding 🌊 — alongside lots of laughs, new challenges and skills being put into practice.

And we’re not finished yet… 👀

We’re getting closer to the finish line, with just one more week of Camp Phoenix to go! 🙌

This week was packed with sailing ⛵, kayaking 🚣, canoeing 🛶 and paddleboarding 🌊, alongside plenty of theory sessions to help our campers understand and develop their skills both on and off the water.

The wind certainly gave us a challenge this week! 💨⛵ Strong conditions made for some exciting sailing, plenty of learning and, inevitably, a few very wet instructors!

We’re officially over halfway through summer camp, and what a week it’s been! ☀️

Our campers have been back out on the water enjoying sailing ⛵, kayaking 🚣, canoeing 🛶 and paddleboarding 🌊

With nly two weeks to go until our final week of Camp Phoenix — let’s make the most of every moment on the water! 🙌🌊

☀️ Week 2 of Camp Phoenix = another week of adventure on the water! 🌊

This week brought a little more wind than last week, making for some fantastic sailing conditions and giving our sailors the chance to experience a whole new challenge on the water! ⛵💨 Alongside sailing, we also enjoyed plenty of kayaking 🚣, canoeing 🛶 and paddleboarding 🌊, with every day packed full of fun, laughter and adventure.

It’s been amazing to watch our campers grow in confidence, learn new skills and support each other every step of the way. Whether they were taking the helm in the breeze, paddling with friends or trying a watersport for the very first time, everyone has achieved something to be proud of.

A huge thank you to our fantastic instructors, volunteers and all of our brilliant campers for making another unforgettable week of Camp Phoenix! 💙

Mark your calendars for our Open Day on Sunday 28th June 2026 between 2pm and 5pm at Phoenix Canoe Club & Outdoor Centre.

⭐️Come and try a FREE Taster Session in either:
- Kayaking, Stand-Up Paddle boarding, Open Canoeing, or Sailing!

⭐️Young people aged 9-17 will require a parent’s signature to take part in activities).

⭐️What to bring:
- a spare change of clothes
- a spare pair of shoes
- towel
- a hat and suncream

⭐️All fitness levels welcome!⭐️

On the day:
- Meet with: our Trustees, Management, Coaches and Volunteers.

The reservoir isn’t just our workplace, it’s also home to some lovely wildlife…🪿🦆🐿️

Our May half term Camp Phoenix is rapidly approaching next week!

We have a variety of sessions through out the week including:

- ‘Fun on the water’ 3 hour sessions in both kayaking and paddleboarding!
- Multi activity day
- kayak level 1
- kayak level 2
- sail stage 1
- sail stage 2

All aimed at kids age 9-16!!
