Sometimes you just need to get moving and everything feels better!

If you have been wondering about Pilates and you are a beginner, then the perfect place to start is the “fundamental reformer class “or the “tower open class”.

Both classes will introduce you to the foundations of Pilates as well as getting you moving in a challenging and a focussed, controlled way.

Pilates is fantastic for strength, flexibility and improved body and mental awareness.

Our studio intro offer is for new clients, it can be used for either the reformer or tower class. You can try 3 classes for £55, all classes must be taken within a 30 day period.

The hardest part of learning something new is taking the first step.

Now is the time to try 😀

More information about class types is on the website, link in bio.

Thinking about trying Pilates?

✨Classes at the studio✨

We run both reformer and tower classes at the studio in Borough.

In these classes we will get you confident with the apparatus and all the fundamentals of Pilates. As the classes are small our teachers can help you get the most out of the equipment and with consistency you really will feel the difference.

We welcome beginners and the of course those who are more experienced, the beauty of small classes are that our teachers can adapt the exercise to increase or lessen the challenge where needed.

What is the difference?

✨The Reformer✨
Reformers use moving pulleys and springs to create challenge and resistance all based around the reformer. As the carriage is moving your body has to consistently react to the changes in resistance. The reformer has been in the limelight for a while now and is a fantastic piece of apparatus but it isn’t the only way to do Pilates 😀

✨The Tower✨
On the tower, rather than having a moving carriage, we use a stationary one, like a mat, however the challenge then comes from using the tower with resistance/springs to get the body moving and articulating in all directions.

Both are fantastic and all follow the Pilates method and will get you feeling your body in a way that you haven’t felt before.

If you would like to have a try, this is the best time to do it as we currently have 2 fantastic offers:

Studio Intro offer
3 classes for £55 - one month expiry

Summer Offer (limited time)
8 classes for £160 - all classes must be used by 31st August

All further details on website or through link on bio.

Come and join us ❤️

❤️Tower classes start this week❤️

So what is the Tower?

The Tower is added at the end of the reformer with a mat creating a stable base.

From here we can use the springs and bars to create resistance and challenge while doing many different Pilates exercises. By also adding boxes and arcs we encourage the spine to flex, rotate and extend and generally getting the body to move on all directions.

Expect a spinal articulation, juicy hip movement, core work, shoulder stability and just all benefits that Pilates brings.

✨Tuesdays - 12pm
✨Wednesdays - 1pm
✨Thursdays - 5.30pm
✨Fridays - 1pm

More classes will be added.

The classes are an open level so beginners welcome and experts too!

If you are new to the studio please use the intro offer 3 classes for £55, valid for one month from purchase. Anyone already with a reformer class pack you can use these also for the Tower.

See you on the Tower!

🙌Tower classes coming to Curve 🙌

Regulars may have noticed some changes at the studio with some new “Towers” appearing.
People often ask me about the different pieces of equipment in the studio but up until now I have only been able to use the Tower with private clients but not anymore as we are exited to be bringing a new schedule of tower classes to Curve.

Like the reformer it uses springs as resistance to add load/support etc so expect lots of spinal articulation, deep core work, posterior chain, leg / hip mobility and lots more ways to feel and understand pilates and all the benefits it brings.

Don’t worry reformer classes will still be running alongside but just more ways to feel Pilates so win, win!

Schedule will be updated soon.
