Hilldrop will be closed 17th -31st August. Well deserved break to this couple of fun and dedicated women who provide our Food hub with M&S food surplus weekly. Tomorrow James Smith will work his magic to feed the members of our Social Club. Thank you to all our volunteers who bring joy to Hilldrop.

Ready, steady… cook!
Thank you for sharing your skills with us on Tuesday. Using food surplus and home grown vegetables you offered our Social Club a delicious meal: an amazing soup with hints of orange, caramelised roasted veggies, chicken and peppers wraps perfumed with our garden herbs, a colourful fruit salad and bread and butter pudding. Thank you to the wonderful volunteers who helped prep, serve and clean.

Busy morning with Craft Club: sewing project, knitting for babies/Christmas decorations/winter sets, crocheting and drawing. A time for all to gather from different background, cultures and abilities. 2 more session before our summer break. The centre will be closed 17th-31st August

Excellent day with our Gardening Group volunteers. Watering first thing while Hilldrop Wildlife Garden still in shade. Then we added compost, wood chip to tomato plants in bed 2. We also put in a terracotta watering pot, which we fill and it then disperses water slowly. Bit of chat about planning for next year! Harvested salad and rhubarb. 💚

Our June Women , Art and Identity workshop with artist Khulood Da'mi has reached completion with this beautiful display. Thank you to all the women who have participated.
